Our #1 goal is for our children to be safe and secure while they are in our care. Our facility has cameras that record 24/7, RFID access doors, AED station, fire extinguishers in every classroom, and most importantly well qualified staff. We also have various plans in place for weather, fire, and intruders. 

All of our staff members have been thoroughly vetted, background checked, and drug tested. Our staff members are all First Aid, CPR, AED and Fire Extingusiher trained. They also take multiple state approved courses in child safety and classroom management. Training records are kept on file in the office.

Our facility has been newly renovated. All of our classrooms have been outfitted with everything your child needs to have their best day at First Steps. We also have janitorial staff who clean at the end of each day to ensure that our facility is always fresh.

Each month will have a new theme and curated activities to match!  Exciting topics such as Zoo Animals, Farm Animals, Community Helpers, and various Holidays ensure that no two days are the same at First Steps PDO. We also focus on developmentally appropriate educational goals in each of our classrooms hroughout the year we will have special visitors, and your child will work on special musical performances to present throughout the year. Our program meets on Tuesday & Thursday from 8:30am-2:30pm. Drop off is from 8:30am-9:00am and pickup is at 2:30pm each day.
